Fiv Realty Revenue Share

A revenue share real estate brokerage shares a portion of the brokerage’s revenue with eligible agents who help introduce productive agents to the company.

This can give real estate professionals an opportunity to earn income in addition to the commissions generated through their personal real estate sales.

Fiv Realty agents can introduce other real estate agents, teams, and brokerages to the company.

When those agents join Fiv Realty and complete eligible transactions, the sponsoring agent may earn revenue share according to the company’s current program and eligibility requirements.

No. Agents can join Fiv Realty and focus entirely on serving buyers, sellers, and their personal real estate production.

Revenue share is an additional opportunity for agents who want to participate in the company’s growth. It is not required for every agent.

No. Real estate commission is earned by representing clients in real estate transactions.

Revenue share is additional income that an eligible agent may earn when agents they introduce to Fiv Realty close qualifying transactions.

Fiv Realty’s revenue share program is designed to provide agents with growth opportunities without a predetermined lifetime earnings cap.

Actual earnings depend on agent production, eligibility, company policies, and the current terms of the revenue share program. Agents should review the official revenue share agreement for complete details.

Eligibility requirements are governed by Fiv Realty’s current revenue share policies and agreements.

A Fiv Realty representative can explain any production, licensing, sponsorship, or participation requirements that apply.

Eligible team leaders, agents, and independent brokers may have opportunities to earn revenue share by introducing agents or organizations to Fiv Realty.

This can provide an additional income stream while allowing leaders to continue operating and growing their real estate businesses.

Commission Plans and Agent Fees

Fiv Realty offers commission options designed to support agents at different production levels and stages of their careers.

The Foundation Plan includes an 80/20 commission split with a $5,000 cap. The Fusion Plan includes a $15,000 cap and access to additional opportunities such as revenue share and potential company stock eligibility.

Plans, fees, and eligibility requirements are subject to change. Agents should review the current program documents with a Fiv Realty representative.

A commission cap is the maximum amount an agent pays to the brokerage from their commission split during a specified period.

Once the agent reaches the applicable cap, the agent may retain a greater percentage of future commissions, subject to transaction fees, program terms, and the selected commission plan.

Fiv Realty offers competitive commission plans with clearly defined caps.

The company’s goal is to provide agents with opportunities to keep more of their production income while receiving access to training, community, support, technology, and business-building resources.

Fiv Realty keeps fees simple and transparent, with no hidden brokerage charges. Both plans include a $50 one-time start-up fee and a $50 monthly cloud fee. Each transaction includes a $75 risk management fee, which is capped at $550 annually, along with a $100 compliance fee per transaction.

Optional technology upgrades are also available, including CRM access through Lofty or Follow Up Boss for $25 per month and electronic signing through DocuSign or Dotloop for $15 per month. Agents remain on an 80/20 commission split until reaching their annual cap, after which they earn 100% commission for the remainder of their anniversary year.

Buying a Home

The first step in buying a home is to speak with a qualified real estate agent and a trusted mortgage professional.

A lender can help you understand your financing options, estimated monthly payment, down payment requirements, and purchase price range. Your Fiv Realty agent can then help you create a home search based on your budget, preferred location, and priorities.

The amount needed to buy a home depends on the purchase price, loan program, down payment, closing costs, and other expenses associated with the transaction.

Some loan programs allow qualified buyers to purchase a home with a lower down payment. Your lender can provide a detailed estimate based on your finances and available loan options.

Buyer closing costs may include lender fees, escrow fees, title services, inspections, appraisal fees, prepaid property taxes, homeowners insurance, and other transaction-related expenses.

The total amount varies based on the property, financing, location, and purchase agreement. Your lender and real estate agent can help you review the estimated costs before you submit an offer.

The timeline for buying a home depends on how long it takes to find the right property and the terms of the purchase agreement.

Once an offer is accepted, a financed home purchase commonly includes time for inspections, appraisal, underwriting, title review, and the final loan approval process. Your agent can explain the expected timeline for your specific transaction.

Look beyond the furnishings and décor. Consider the home’s overall condition, layout, location, storage, natural light, major systems, and whether the property meets your long-term needs.

Your agent can help you evaluate important factors and identify questions that should be addressed before making an offer.

A professional home inspection is generally recommended because it can provide more information about the home’s visible condition.

An inspector may evaluate major components such as the roof, foundation, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling equipment, and other accessible areas. Your real estate agent can explain the inspection process and the options available under your purchase agreement.

A buyer’s agent can help you:

  • Understand the local real estate market
  • Search for homes that meet your criteria
  • Schedule and attend property tours
  • Evaluate pricing and comparable sales
  • Prepare and negotiate offers
  • Coordinate inspections and deadlines
  • Communicate with the lender, escrow company, and other parties
  • Navigate the transaction through closing

The agent’s role is to help you make informed decisions throughout the buying process.

Buyer-agent compensation is determined through an agreement between the buyer and the agent.

In some transactions, the seller may offer compensation toward the buyer agent’s professional fee. In other situations, the buyer may be responsible for some or all of the agreed-upon amount. Your agent should explain the compensation agreement and available options before you begin touring homes.

Fiv Realty operates in multiple markets and can help connect buyers with experienced local agents in areas served by the brokerage.

Selling a Home

Your home’s market value is influenced by its location, size, condition, features, improvements, recent comparable sales, and current buyer demand.

Automated home-value estimates can provide a general starting point, but they may not account for the home’s unique condition or the most recent neighborhood activity. A local real estate agent can prepare a comparative market analysis to provide a more detailed pricing recommendation.

Your agent will review recent comparable sales, active listings, pending sales, market conditions, property features, and your desired timeline.

The goal is to establish a price that positions the home competitively while supporting your financial objectives. Pricing too high can reduce buyer interest, while pricing too low may leave money on the table.

Before listing, focus on improvements that can make the home cleaner, more inviting, and easier for buyers to evaluate.

This may include:

  • Decluttering and removing personal items
  • Completing minor repairs
  • Deep cleaning the home
  • Improving landscaping and curb appeal
  • Touching up paint
  • Organizing closets and storage areas
  • Preparing the home for photography and showings

Your agent can help you determine which improvements may have the greatest effect on your sale.

Not every home needs major renovations before it is listed.

The right strategy depends on the property’s current condition, the local market, the likely buyer, and the potential return on the improvement. A real estate agent can help you decide whether to make updates, complete minor repairs, or sell the home in its current condition.

The time needed to sell a home depends on its price, location, condition, marketing, buyer demand, interest rates, and overall market conditions.

Your Fiv Realty agent can review recent sales and current listing activity in your area to provide a more relevant estimate.

Seller expenses may include real estate professional fees, escrow or attorney fees, title-related costs, transfer taxes, agreed-upon repairs, mortgage payoff amounts, and other transaction expenses.

Costs vary by property, location, and purchase agreement. Your agent can help you prepare an estimated seller net sheet so you can better understand the potential proceeds from the sale.

After accepting an offer, the transaction may move through several stages, including:

  • Buyer inspections
  • Property appraisal
  • Financing and underwriting
  • Title or ownership review
  • Repair or credit negotiations
  • Required disclosures
  • Final walkthrough
  • Signing and closing

Your agent will help coordinate deadlines, documents, negotiations, and communication throughout the process.

The marketing strategy will depend on the home, price range, location, local market, and individual listing plan.

Marketing may include professional photography, online property exposure, social media promotion, targeted digital marketing, open houses, direct communication with agents, signage, print materials, and placement in the applicable multiple listing service.

Speak with your local Fiv Realty agent about the recommended marketing strategy for your property.

Fiv Realty has agents serving multiple markets. If a Fiv Realty agent does not directly serve your location, the company may be able to connect you with an experienced local real estate professional.
